Is Tim Tebow "a modern day miracle"?

DO YOU HAVE FAITH? Tim Tebow continues to wow me!
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Hebrews 11: 1- 3
1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. The NFL will not allow Tim Tebow to wear his inspirational bible quote eye make-up, as the former Florida Gator, Heisman Trophy, 2 Time National Title Winning QB, did in every college game he ever played in. However, if you are paying attention, you will see that Hebrews 11:1 and Philippians 4:13 are alive and well.

Tim Tebow is turning heads. The storyline was almost too appropriate: The man who attracted a cult-like following during his amateur days at the University of Florida returns to play football in the state for the first time as a professional. Pundits and idolaters have fashioned whips out of their praise and ink, the better to beat the dead horse.
And so far, Tebow's ballyhooed promotion is living up to the hype.
But is that really all that surprising? Setting aside his personal beliefs and ineffable charm for a minute, Tebow has never been an exemplar of orthodoxy under center; nevertheless, playing with an unmistakable flair and a proclivity for highlight-reel plays, he has managed to establish a reputation as a winner.

HEBREWS 11-7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. - ARE YOU NOT WOW'ED? An attitude of humility, is not having a low self esteem. Tim proves this week-in and week out. His walk says it all, He gives all of the credit to God and his team mates. Wild wins are becoming routine for Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos , who flail away through most of four quarters before coming through in the clutch. Matt Prater 's 51-yard field goal 6 1/2 minutes into overtime gave the Broncos a 13-10 victory over the stunned Chicago Bears on Sunday. Prater's 59-yarder with 3 seconds left in regulation tied the score after Tebow led another rally. "If you believe," Tebow said, "then unbelievable things can sometimes be possible." I so get that, As a believer I do fully believe and expect God to take care of any and all of the trouble that comes my way. After all he is God and this is his promise to us as his children.

It was Denver's sixth straight win and seventh in eight games since Tebow, dubbed the "Mile High Messiah," was promoted to starter. The Broncos have trailed in the second half in six of those victories.
This latest comeback put Denver in sole possession of first place in the AFC West after Oakland's 46-16 drubbing at Green Bay. "Never say never," wide receiver Eric Decker said. "That's a great characteristic of this team. ... Again it wasn't pretty. But again in the fourth quarter, we found a way to make some plays. Matt Prater , man, the kid can boom it." After failing to score on their first dozen possessions, the Broncos (8-5) erased a 10-0 deficit in the final 2:08 of regulation. "I think we're rewriting the book on `keep fighting,"' coach John Fox said. "Our guys never blink. They remain positive. As bad as it looked today - we didn't play well; we had some drops. But the guy who dropped a couple of passes caught the ... touchdown. That's kind of the M.O. on this bunch."

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. - I am amazed at how we all get down on our self, and yet God sends us people like Tim, to stretch our faith and to give us hope. As I am writing this, I am reminded that HOPE toted the CROSS. We must not allow hard times to rob us of our faith and joy. God will allow trouble to enter our life to keep our hearts tender towards him and others. When our hearts grow hard, it is due to the lack of faith.

Complaining will not get our problems solved, however praise and prayer will.
Hebrews 11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. 27By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. 28Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned - Week after week the Denver Broncos with Tim Tebow at the helm have found themselves behind in the fourth quarter. For the sixth week in a row the Broncos emerged victorious, this time courtesy of a Matt Prater game-winning field goal in overtime against the Chicago Bears.

Hebrews 11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days - How amazing, even when the chips were down Joseph never allowed his faith to waiver and kept marching on until the walls feel . Jericho went from being an administrative centre under Persian rule to serving as the private estate of Alexander the Great between 336 and 323 BCE after his conquest of the region. In the middle of the 2nd century BCE Jericho was under Hellenistic rule, and the Syrian General Bacchides built a number of forts to strengthen the defences of the area around Jericho against invasion by the Macabees.

In Hebrews 6:10- 15 we read how, God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife - The word faith appears 31 times in the book of Hebrews alone. this all the more proves that if we want to inherit the promise of God, that we must have the ability to go the distance. Tim Tebow most certainly proves this to be true. However, when we lose focus and waiver, we cost our self blessings of favor, and then we have to rely on blessings of mercy.

With the eyes of the nation on him, Tim keeps his eyes on the Lord

Hebrews 11:33- 40 ~ Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.
34Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
35Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

It is so important to keep firming our faith. Faith is a relationship of trust, God rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Faith is a response of Action. We must be aware of the miracles that God sets before us. Even if some of them take works of faith before they manifest. I am confident that our faith is a resource of our power and we are hard pressed on every side, but with God's help, love, grace and mercy, we are not crushed.

This week the New England Patriots will travel to face Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos, on Sunday December 18 at 4:15 p.m. on CBS.
Providence is on the schedule this week for the Patriots against Tebow and the Broncos. But this time it's in Colorado, not Rhode Island. The Legend of Tebow and the Legend of Gronk are going to collide in apocalyptic fashion on Sunday. Gronkos vs. Broncos. Something has got to give. Better still, will Belichick recoil like Dracula looking into the light if he shakes hands with Tebow before the game. Finally, there's always The Only Virgin In the NFL vs. America's Favorite Baby Daddy.
